Triplly is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we
collect, why we collect it, how we use and store it, when we share it with third parties, and the
choices and rights available to you.
Information We Collect
Account data: email address, username, and profile image.
Group and trip data: trip groups you create or join, trip details, and any
preferences associated with those trips.
User-generated content: uploaded photos, messages, comments, and expense details
(amounts, descriptions, participants, and payment statuses).
Device data: device identifiers such as the Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token
used to send push notifications.
Usage data: app interactions and settings needed to operate features such as
notifications and group management.
How We Use Your Information
Account creation and management: to register you, authenticate you, and maintain
your Triplly account.
Group travel features: to create and manage trip groups, share itineraries, and
coordinate expenses between group members.
Content sharing: to store and display photos, messages, and trip updates to
authorized group members.
Notifications: to send updates about trip activity, invitations, expense changes,
and security-related alerts.
Payments and settlements: to support expense tracking and enable settlements
through your chosen UPI or card provider.
Safety, security, and compliance: to protect accounts, prevent abuse, and comply
with legal or regulatory obligations.
How We Store and Protect Your Information
Infrastructure: data is stored on our backend using Oracle VM with MySQL, secured
behind Cloudflare.
Protection: data is protected through encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and
restricted-access controls on our services and storage.
Retention: we retain information only for as long as needed to provide Triplly
services or meet legal obligations. Data is deleted or anonymized when it is no longer required.
When We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the following service providers to
operate Triplly:
Supabase: for authentication and login services.
Cloudflare: for secure delivery, storage of images, and content protection.
Google Firebase: for push notifications using device FCM tokens.
Payment gateway: your selected UPI or card payment provider to process settlements
you initiate.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of
users, the public, or Triplly.
Your Rights and Choices
Access and updates: you can view and modify your profile information and trip
details within the app.
Delete account: you can request deletion of your account and associated data.
Deleting your account may remove access to groups, messages, uploaded photos, and expense records.
Data deletion: you may request removal of specific content you have posted (such as
photos or messages) subject to legal and operational requirements.
Notifications: you can manage push notification preferences in your device settings
and within the app where available.

Children's Privacy
Triplly is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from
children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can take
appropriate action.
International Transfers
Your information may be processed on servers located in regions other than your own. We take steps to
ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for any cross-border data transfers.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will post
the updated policy within the app and on our website with a new “Last updated” date. Please review the
policy periodically.
Account Deletion Request - Triplly
At Triplly, we value your privacy and give you full control over your data. If you no longer wish to use
our services, you can request the deletion of your account and all associated personal data.
How to Delete Your Account
There are two ways to request account deletion:
1. In-App Deletion (Recommended)
The fastest way to delete your account is directly through the Triplly mobile app:
Open the Settings tab.
Scroll to the bottom of the Account section.
Tap on Delete Account.
Confirm your choice in the popup. Your account will be immediately deactivated and scheduled for
deletion.
2. Manual Request via Email
If you have already uninstalled the app or cannot access your account, you can request deletion by
emailing our support team:
Content: Please include your registered email address or username. We will process
your request within 7 business days.
What Data is Deleted?
When your account is deleted, the following information is permanently removed from our active servers:
Profile Information: Your full name, username, email address, and encrypted phone
number.
Profile Picture: Any uploaded profile images.
Personal Notes: All private notes created within the app.
In-app Feedback: Any feedback submitted to the developer.
What Data is Retained?
To maintain the integrity of shared financial records for other users, the following data may be kept:
Shared Expenses: Any expenses you created or participated in within a group will
remain visible to other group members to ensure their balances remain accurate. However, your name
will be replaced with "Deleted User."
Group History: Logs of transactions within groups you belonged to.
Legal Compliance: We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate
business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention or financial auditing).
Data Retention Period
Once a deletion request is processed, it may take up to 30 days for your data to be fully purged from our
backup systems. After this period, your data cannot be recovered.
